Team Shine 2013

Team Shine

iCan Shine is currently operated by three full-time management employees and approximately 35 seasonal staff.  Here are links to our seasonal program staff job descriptions:

Our team is comprised of individuals from across the United States that are passionate about delivering safe and quality recreation programs to individuals with disabilities. The majority of our ‘iCan’ programs occur between June and August making this seasonal position a great fit for educators and those currently enrolled in higher education who are seeking summer employment.

All our seasonal staff positions involve traveling 100% of the time to some of our over 100 cities within the US (with some opportunities in Canada).  For those that love to travel, our seasonal staff positions are a great fit.  Essentially each seasonal staff person lets us know which summer weeks they are available to work and we assign them to locations based on their availability.

Our seasonal staff generally work between 2 and 8 camp weeks for us each summer traveling the country to work in a new city each week.  Each seasonal staff person is always partnered with another while traveling and working at our camps.

We typically conduct our interviewing and hiring of staff during the winter months but applications are accepted at anytime. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age by June 1st.
