Co-Founder, Director of Finance & Administration
As Director of Finance & Administration, Jeff is responsible for strategic planning, business development, camp host planning and coordination, finance, accounting and other administrative duties.
Before joining iCan Shine in 2011, Jeff formed and served as the Host and Camp Director of six iCan Bike camps in the Philadelphia area beginning in 2010 shortly after being inspired by his son’s successful completion of a camp.
Prior to making the switch to the nonprofit world, from 2003 to 2007, Jeff served as VP, Corporate Controller for Henry Schein, Inc., a Fortune 500 Company in the healthcare industry based in New York. From 1999 to 2003, he served as VP, Accounting & Financial Reporting for Insight Communications in New York.
Jeff began his professional career in 1991 at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York where he worked for eight years in the Business Assurance Practice as a CPA specializing in the nonprofit industry. He earned an MBA and a BA in English before beginning his professional career.
