How We Utilize Donations
All donations for any amount are greatly appreciated and enable us to continue fulfilling our mission of providing unique learning opportunities in recreational activities for people with disabilities.
In 2014, 88% of our expenses were direct iCan Bike program costs primarily including equipment costs, bike camp staff compensation and travel costs. Only 12% of our expenses were indirect organizational costs including management compensation, website maintenance, marketing, insurance, accounting, legal and other administrative costs.

How Reputable is iCan Shine?
Our organization began in 2007 and, since then, has successfully taught approximately 20,000 people with disabilities to ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle. If interested in seeing how transparently we operate, we encourage you to review our organizational information on the nonprofit industry Guidestar Exchange and/or at Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp.
