"We really didn't know what to expect as we headed for our week at iCan Bike camp. Caleb had ridden a three-wheel bike before, but it had been years since his balance bike was used. The parent meeting on Sunday set the stage for greater expectations with the testimonial from our friend Chris, who is now training for an Ironman and got started at the iCan Bike camp years ago. From Day one, Sammi and Clayton (and Camille with DSFF) did a wonderful job of making sure parents had information, that we knew what was to happen during each session and how to support our bikers once we got home. Many of the riders in our session were successfully riding independently by Day 5. We have a bit more work to do at home, but we are determined to take the momentum that Camp gave us to move forward towards independent riding soon and family bike rides to come!
