“When I heard about the camp from our social worker, I knew that was exactly what our 14 year old son needed. My husband and I are not as fit as we used to be and running behind him was not something we were able to do, so we thought he would never learn, but within a week, he graduated from the program. I cannot tell you how moved I was when I saw him riding on his own for the first time. Everybody was cheering him and that helped a lot with his self-esteem. Sure, he still need to practice his starts, and still needs a push, but I’m sure that over the rest of the summer he will manage that last bit easily. He even made me want to start riding again! I cannot thank enough all the volunteers that ran along him. Ramesh (Volunteer) was wonderful, so attentive to his need, even bringing some colouring pages for my son about his favorite character!
