“I wanted to share with you our “shelter in place” story. We traveled from California to Oregon last summer to do the bike camp in Hermiston, Oregon. It was an amazing experience and we left with a kid who was just so close to being an independent rider. She was just lacking the confidence and the ability to start on her own. We tried for weeks after and then unfortunately school and regular life took back over and her bike sat untouched. I was thinking about looking into going back this summer and trying again since she was so close. At the start of this quarantine her 7 year old brother decided to teach himself to ride his bike and this lit a new fire under her. For a week without our help she would try to start on her own. After a week she got it and is now going around the block by herself!!! Everything just came to her which your instructors taught her. Her posture is perfect. I didn’t know if she would ever learn and now she can ride by herself. Yay our 11 year old stroke survivor. Huge thanks and love during this uncertain time.”
